The environmental aspects of natural resource management agriculture and soils

This paper looks at the demands made on agriculture by an increasing population and by desires to improve living standarts, and examines the methods by which these demands have been met in the past and may be met in the future. It focusses on the impact of agriculture on the human environment, identifies the basic issues concerning the environment and their causes, analyses alternative solutions and finally suggests programmes and priorities for action
