Algunas consideraciones acerca de los estudios sobre la materia orgánica de suelos venezolanos
Se revisa algunas de las informaciones producidas sobre la evaluación de las características de la materia orgánica, bien en su condición nativa, bien el efecto producido por prácticas de manejo, en suelos venezolanos. Se hace especial hincapié en las investigaciones vinculadas al Instituto de Edafología de la Facultad de Agronomía de la Universidad Central de Venezuela.Palabras clave: materia orgánica, suelos venezolanos, residuos orgánicos, ácidos húmicos. AbstractSome information about the evaluation of soil organic matter characteristic of Venezuelan soils were revised, well in their native condition, and in conditions where the soil organic matter has been affected as a consequence of management practices. Special attention has been focused in the investigations linked to the Institute of Edafology of the Faculty of Agronomy of the Central University of Venezuela.Key words: organic matter, Venezuelan soils, organic residues, humic acids.
