Toxemia de preñez I.: Evaluación de diferentes parámetros metabólicos en ovejas gestantes en condiciones de campo
In two Corriedale flocks, of 500 ewes, glycaemia, ketonaemia, ketonuria and urine pH, have been determinated during the pregnancy. These paramethers did not show any significant changes during the study. However severe hypoglycaemia has been demostrated by fasting in the last period. Significant differences in glycaemia levels have been found between the two flocks, probably due to different manegement, nutriton and health.
