Internet and veterinary medicine
The beginnings of the Internet can be traced back to 1969, when it was located in the United States Department of Defense, and was known as DARPAnet (Defense Advanced Research Project Network), which was dedicated to military defense, linking government entities with the military. The Internet breaks the scientific isolation regularly encountered by the veterinary doctor. The possibility of accessing global knowledge centers such as Universities or Research Centers, or to contact colleagues around the world immediately, allows new possibilities for updating and learning.
