Biodiversidad epilítica de un arroyo subtropical del Noroeste Argentino
Taboada, María de los Á.; Silvia N. Martínez De Marco; Beatriz C. Tra- canna. 2016. “Epilithic biodiversity of a subtropical stream of Argentine Northwest”. Lilloa 53 (1). In this contribution it is given to know the epilithic phycoflora of Arroyo Mista (Dpto. Leales), for which physicochemical and biological samples were collected during an annual cycle. The water was alkaline, oxigenated and sodium-chlorinated-sulfated type, with high val- ues of electrical conductivity. A total of 112 taxa of which corresponded to the class Bacil- lariophyceae (83), Division Cyanophyta (17), Chlorophyta (8), Euglenophyta (2) and Rhodophyta (2). Of the total number of taxa registered 11 are cited for the first time for the Province of Tucuman, belonging to diatoms. Thereby increasing taxonomic knowledge of the regional phy- coflora.
