Environmental problem: solid waste. One way of solution
In recent years, public health and the environmental context have deteriorated rapidly, due to factors of anthropic intervention, due to the inefficiency of managers in the management of the remains produced by the city. The objective of this research was to strengthen municipal programs on this service. The research was mixed with a qualitative, evaluative and quantitative approach. The information techniques used in the present investigation were interviews and surveys. Under this perspective and taking into account the local government of Barranca, the modality of management of the public cleaning service is “Direct Municipal Administration”; it means that this entity must repower the administrative and operational part of the service; However, this does not happen, due to the low economic collection due to the “municipal taxes” heading; which has a delinquency of around 85%, Discussion this brings with it an economic deficit and therefore the impossibility of investing in the indicated service; This is an x-ray that is repeated in all local governments of Peru
