BRIOFITAS DEL ÁREA RECREATIVA DEL JARDÍN BOTÁNICO DE CARACAS
COMPENDIOComo resultado del inventario brioflorístico realizado en el área recreativa delJardín Botánico de Caracas se encontraron 29 especies de briofitos divididosen hepáticas foliosas (2 familias, 5 géneros y 6 especies) y musgos (13 familias,19 géneros y 23 especies). Se reportan 14 nuevos registros a la briofloradel Distrito Capital y se adiciona Microlejeunea globosa (Spruce) Steph. yTortella tortuosa (Hedw.) Limpr. a la brioflora venezolana.ABSTRACTAn inventory of the bryophytes collected in the recreational area of the CaracasBotanical Garden registered 29 species of bryophytes. These include thalloseliverworts (2 families, 5 genera and 6 species) and Mosses (13 families, 19genera and 23 species). Fourteen new records were added to the inventory ofthe Capital District: two of these, Microlejeunea globosa (Spruce) Steph.and Tortella tortusa (Hedw.) Limpr. are reported for the first time for Venezuela.
