Educational innovations, the Aprender Conectados plan: Sovereignty or dependence?
It is presented an analysis of the Plan Aprender Conectados implemented in 2018 by the government of Alianza Cambiemos, for the three levels of Argentine basic education. The concept of educational innovation is discussed from perspectives that critically inquire into the relationships between Science, Technology and Society. In the implementation of the plan there is a direct transfer of technology from multinational corporations, despite the existence of local developments in didactic and educational robotics. On the other hand, the design and development of this plan has not included participation and articulation with social actors such as educational communities, local robotics developers, educators, R&D institutions, trade unions and research groups. It can be concluded that this public policy contribute to generate more dependence on the central countries, and not to the promotion of a sovereign economic, scientific and technological development.
