New models of tourism planning are beginning to emerge in a changing context, in which the negative consequences of tourism are increasingly exacerbated, as well as the needs and interests of hyper-connected, more informed and demanding tourists. This is the case of Smart Tourism Destinations, a management model based on the updated information received from the destination and which is supported by the axes of sustainability, universal accessibility, governance, innovation and the implementation of technologies to achieve the objectives of these axes. Thus, the aim of this research is to analyse the ICTs capacitiesy for tourism destination in Tandil in order to evaluate its potential to become a Smart Tourism Destination. For this reason, a qualitative methodology based on a bibliographic search and key informant interviews, was used.
