Bird fauna of the La Pampa province, Argentina: list of species of Passeriformes
We present a list of passeriform birds species recorded for the province of La Pampa. Data were obtained from the analysis of museum specimens (Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales, Buenos Aires, Museo de La Plata, La Plata, and Museo Provincial de Historia Natural, Santa Rosa, La Pampa), field observations and the literature. We report a total of 144 species belonging to 19 families. First location records for the province are provided for four species. In addition, new localities for another 98 species are reported.
