Three new species of the genus Liolaemus (Reptilia, Iguanidae) are described

The material of the first, L. variegatus sp.n. belongs to the Zoologische Staatsammlung, Munich. It comes mainly from Tiraque, Dpto Cochabamba, Bolivia. The specimens of the two other species are in the collection of the Fundación Miguel Lillo: L. bitaeniatus sp.n. common in green pastures at moderate elevations (1500-2500 m) in Northwestern Argentina and L. griseus sp.n., a rare species based on a pair from the Cerro Isabel, Cumbres Calchaquies (4500-4600 m). L. variegatus and L. bitaeniatus are related to L. gracilis of which they might prove to be merely vicariants. L. griseus is closely related to the sympatric but much more common L. huacahuasicus.
