News about the presence of some mineral manifestations in the Paranilla hill (Cafayate Department, Salta, Argentina)
In this paper the author describes three small mineral deposits located in the western part of the cerro Paranilla in the province of Salta. They consist largely of copper, bismuth ocher and iron ore veins as well as a sedimentary manganese deposit. At the same time stratigraphic correlations are established with other similar manganese deposits in other parts of the northwestern Argentine provinces.
