INVENTARIO PRELIMINAR DE PLANTAS ÚTILES DE BOSQUES REMANENTES EN LAS DELICIAS YELGUAMO, SERRANÍADE IMATACA, ESTADO BOLÍVAR, VENEZUELA
RESUMEN Se presentan los resultados preliminares de un inventario etnobotánico del área de losasentamientos campesinos Las Delicias y El Guamo, Serranía de Imataca, estado Bolívar.Este estudio es producto de una propuesta de desarrollo integral, que incluyó un diagnósticode la potencialidad de uso del recurso botánico existente en la zona. Se encontraron 79 especies,de las cuales 51 son útiles, la mayoría en medicina tradicional, de acuerdo a la consultaa un baquiano conocedor de las plantas locales. Se incluye una lista florística de las especies registradas hasta el momento en el área de estudio.ABSTRACTThe preliminary results of an ethnobotanic inventory carried out in the rural settlements Las Delicias and El Guamo, Serrania Imataca, Bolívar State, are presented. Thisstudy is product of a proposal of integral development, that included a diagnosis of the usepotentiality of the existing botanical resource in the area. 79 species were inventoried, ofwhich 51 are useful species, the majority used by the people in traditional medicine, accordingto the consultation of a local person with experience in local plants. A floristic list of thespecies registered in the study area is included.
