Poa annua L. y Polypogon elongatus Kunth (Poaceae), Dos nuevas especies exóticas para la flora de la Guayana venezolana
RESUMENSe presentan y describen las especies Poa annua y Polypogon elongatus (Poaceae)como nuevos registros botánicos para la flora de la Guayana venezolana. Estos taxa son exóticosa la biorregión, y dada su posible amenaza a la biodiversidad nativa como especie invasora,se proponen acciones para el manejo de sus poblaciones.ABSTRACTPoa annua and Polypogon elongatus (Poaceae) are described as two new additions tothe flora of the Venezuelan Guayana. These taxa are exotic to the bioregion, so they could representa possible threat to the local biodiversity as invasive species. Actions for populationmanagement are proposed.
