Vargas Bolívar, Luis Carlos
Luis Carlos Vargas is the Lead Specialist of International Cooperation at the Center for Knowledge Management and Horizontal Cooperation Services at IICA. Mr. Vargas has a strong experience on Knowledge Management, he has worked at IICA since 2015, and started as Head of the Information and Editorial Production Centre for Agriculture. Mr. Vargas also has an strong experience on business intelligence and data management; he worked more than ten years for international institutions such as Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Trade Promotion Agency of Costa Rica (PROCOMER) on positions such as Economic Advisor and as Director of Trade Intelligence, respectivily. Also He has been consultant for the European Forest Institute and Earth University on agriculture trade studies. Luis Carlos Vargas holds a degree in Economics from the University of Costa Rica and a Master in International Business from Pompeu Fabra University; and other Master in Public Policy from the Korea Development Institute.
