Validation of a method for pesticide residue analysis in gulupa (Passiflora edulis f. edulis)

The gulupa belongs to the family Passi oraceae, it is native to the American tropics and it is characterized by its exotic and distinctive aroma, quality that makes it attractive for the European market, which must meet standards of harmless. To do this, a method was evaluated for the simultaneous analysis of residual eect of methyl-parathion, malathion, deltamethrin and chlorothalonil in this matrix. The QuEChERS skill was applied following a modication of the protocol EN 15662 formed by three stages, the rst one consists of a removal with acetonitrile (MeCN) that includes a process of saline precipitation of the sample in aqueous medium. In the second step, a cleanliness is made using diverse sorbents to remove most of components coextracted with the analytes and nally, the instrumental analysis is realized using the gaseous chromatography ECD. In the analysis of linearity was obtained correlations of 0,9991; 0,9998 and 0,9992 for methyl-parathion, malathion and deltamethrin respectively; which fullled the signicance tests, residual, slope and intercept. There were achieved limits of quantication of 0,035 mg/kg for methylparathion and 0,02 mg/kg for the other two compounds were achieved, all of them with uncertainty estimates less than 50 %. In addition, they fullled the criteria of accuracy and precision established in SANCO, 12571 (2013), achieving a successful validation for these three pesticides although chlorothalonil did not comply with the parameters of linearity and limit of quantication required to be approved.
