Progress of an experience with Moodle use in middle school: a starting point

In this article we will show the advances of a meaningful experience about the utilization of the educational platform Moodle to seventh, eight and ninth grades of the Francisco Miranda Educational Institution of Medellín. High School students show low level of motivation and responsability regarding academic work, many teachers look for strategies which could contribute to the improvement of the educational process, especially those which engage students much more in order to acquire intellectual habits that pomote their autonomy in the learning process. The experience with Natural Sciences signature demostrates how the students engage little by little with the learning process, whether virtual courses are used to support the classroom activities, mainly because they generate more motivation towards out campus work, which it is based on short time complementation activities, although superficially. This is just a starting point to mediate technology classroom process, wich encourage those students who have not achieved a serious and responsable link with their learning process.
