Effect of the times of rains and drought on the absorption of potassium and phosphorus in plantains plantations

The effect of the times of rains and drought, on the absorption of potassium and phosphorus in plantains plantations (Musa AAB) Simmonds, were evaluated in four geomorphológics soils units in the municipality of Moñitos (Còrdoba), using a stratified sampling at random. The analyzed parameters were, contained of phosphorus, potassium and calcium in the soils and the plant, pH and organic matter of the soils. The value of pH for soils was distributed from acid neutral moderately and the content of the organic matter was average, were contained calcium stops in the ground, that in spite of being secondary nutrient for the plants, regulates the absorption of other main nutrients like potassium, but was fundamental for the absorption of potassium and phosphorus at the two times of sampling. The potassium content in the plant (mineralización via humid) was high at both times (4%), being greater at the time of rains, whereas the phosphorus stayed in normality ranks (
