Analytical methods for propanol include gas chromatography, which can detect 5 x 10-5 mg/m3 in air, 1 x 10-4 mg/litre in water, and 0.002 mg/litre in blood, serum, or urine, when suitable extraction or concentration procedures are used with the sample.
