Company Environmental Reporting : A Measure of the Progress of Business & Industry Towards Sustainable Development - Technical Report No. 24

Corporate environment reports are quickly becoming a key channel for companies to communicate their environmental performance. Just as important, corporate environment reports are also becoming an effective tool to demonstrate company-wide integrated environmental management systems, corporate responsibility, and the implementation of industry voluntary codes of conduct. The objective of this report is to help companies - wherever they may be based and operate - to decide whether, to whom and how they should report on their current environmental performance and on what their future targets should be.
