Terminal Evaluation of 'Seed Capital Assistance Facility, Phase I' (SCAF)
This report is an evaluation of a UN Environment/GEF project which began in 2008 with an intended completion date of 2013 and an actual completion date of June 2018. Operating in countries in Africa and Asia, the project has supported 9 partners to develop more than 140 projects and leveraged over USD 503 m in investments into 577 MW of renewable energy projects. This was achieved by providing fund managers of Private Equity Funds with matching grants to cover various types of project development costs.
