Identification of adrenal lesions

Abstract Lesions in the adrenal glands are, for the most part, detected incidentally from diagnostic images. Once an adrenal lesion is identified, it is necessary to assess whether it is hormonally functional or non-functional to guide treatment and follow-up. The semiological imaging characteristics of these lesions allow them to be classified and to distinguish which are probably benign or, on the contrary, which have characteristics of malignancy. A review of the topic with the main adrenal lesions is proposed, along with how to identify them from diagnostic images.
