Miscelanea 151 (2024): Catalogue of Marchantiophyta donated by the Herbarium of São Paulo (Brazil) to the Cryptogamic Collection of the Miguel Lillo Foundation. Part I

In this first catalogue of the Bryological Section (LIL-Musci) of the Cryptogamic Collection, a list is presented of the specimens donated to the Miguel Lillo Foundation (LIL) by the Botanical Institute, São Paulo Brazil (SP). The donation consistsof a total of 499 specimens of Bryophyta and Marchantiophyta. In this first part, 129 duplicates of Marchantiophyta are listed, belonging to 39 genera and 84 species from 12 states of Brazil. 90% of the specimens were collected in the biome corresponding to the Mata Atlântica and the collector with the highest number of specimens is Olga Yano (34 %). This catalogue aims to disseminate and revalue the bryological collections of the Miguel Lillo Foundation, facilitating access to biodiversity databy the scientific community and anyone interested in learning about the bryoflora.
