Caracterización de micorrizas autóctonas en suelo y raíces provenientes de pasturas en Santiago Rodríguez, República Dominicana: Caracterización de micorrizas autóctonas en suelo y raíces

The research determined the potential of mycorrhizae present in soil pastures from different locations in the Province of Santiago Rodríguez and the presence of arbuscular mycorrhizae was found in the plants. A higher average of spores is reported in soil samples 4, 10 and 6 with 23, 15 and 13 %, respectively, and in samples 7 and 3 a lower percentage corresponding to 4% respectively. Root staining was determined and fungal structures of the different types of fungi observed from AMF were visualized, where cortical cells with arbuscules, hyphae and germinated spores within the root were observed. Through phenotypic studies, three species belonging to the genus Glomus were specifically identified. G. fasciculatun, G. geosporum and G. desertícola in localities evaluated. In the molecular technique of PCR and 18S rDNA, positive results of PCR obtained from soil spore samples for phyllum Glomeromycota were found in the amplification of a region of the spore ribosomal 18S gene from samples 4, 5 and 6. It was observed in the 11 of roots show an amplification zone for the genus Glomus sp., between 150-100 bp. The information generated will allow the use of these autochthonous mycorrhizae in the formulation of a fertilizer to increase the sustainability of the cattle systems of the Northwest Line.
