The index for Boyacá makes it possible to determine the capacity to implement policies of competitiveness and productivity, aimed at proposing strategies that improve the basic conditions, efficiency and sophistication and innovation according to the departmental index classification. This leads to the identification of the progress that Boyacá has presented, in specific aspects for basic and secondary education, followed by institutions and environment, among others; in contrast to innovation and business dynamics, is below the national average without improving its position.
