Regional productive circuits, agents and ways of implantation. Notes for a renewed analytical framework (Argentina, at the beginning of the 21st century)

In this research we seek to contribute to the renewal of the analytical framework of regional production circuits. For this, we address the productive characteristics of leading and subordinate agents that make up the selected regional productive circuits, pointing out the transformation of agents and the role of the international market observed through the accumulation regimes, the ways of implantation and the dynamics of said circuits. in the half century since the original formulation of that analytical framework. We develop a qualitative approach, which uses primary and, centrally, secondary sources of information. The cases addressed are: fruit growing (Alto Valle de Río Negro and Neuquén), viticulture (Mendoza and San Juan), cotton-textile (Chaco) and dairy (Santa Fe and Buenos Aires). From aspects that structure these cases, seven dimensions of analysis are developed through which to contribute to a renewed perspective of regional productive circuits.
