Intervened Bodies
The texts that are incorporated in this edition of Equity and Society, resignify biopower in contemporary Chile. Our call insisted that "the first conquest of the subject is that of ones own body, material and symbolic territory of disputes over control of desires and affections; production of life and of living things." In these articles the bodies talk. To this end, they are incardinated and placed, they are made into flesh in language and in public places.
