Cooperación y conflicto en la Cuenca del Plata

This paper aims to systematize the subregional multilateral system of the River Plate Basin, whose institutional origin resides in the signing of the Brasilia Treaty in April 1969. On the one hand, it shows the ambivalence between integration and cooperation - common to other multilateral models in the region - and, on the other, the duality of conflict and cooperation. The first part describes the framework in which the integrationist attempt and cooperative practice took place in Latin America, to situate the model of the River Plate Basin. In the second part, together with some conceptual notes, the conflictive and cooperative tendencies are pointed out, ordering them in a model.
