Determinación de triglicéridos en fracciones lipoproteicas de pollos broiler por métodos químico colorimétrico y de turbidez .

Triclycerides concentration contained in the VLDL+LDL fraction were determined in male broiler chickens of the Húbbard fine from 14 to 49 days of age, with an without a 12 hour fast, through an adaptation of a commercial colorimetric method for human use. VLDL+LDL fraction were selectively precipitated with polyanions. Triglycerides concen­tration was lower in birds after 12 hours fasting than in fed subjects. In addition, a significant correlation was found between the triglycerides concentration in VLDL+LDL fraction as determine by the colorimetric method, and the VLDL fraction measured by the turbidity test.
