Comparison of two doses of FSHp in superovulation of Pelibuey ewes

The FSHp dose for superovulation in sheep has traditionally been 200 mg (García-Salas et al., 2017; Arashiro et al., 2022). However, studies have shown that doses of 80 mg in Merino sheep (Gibbons et al., 2010) and 128 mg in Dorper sheep (Loiola Filho et al., 2015) produce a number of transferable embryos similar to the conventional dose . The objective of this research was to compare the classic dose of 200 mg and a reduced dose of 100 mg on the superovulatory response and number of embryos in Pelibuey ewes.
