CMO, UWI committee investigates use of drugs against COVID-19. At the daily COVID-19 press briefing, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh says that world is recognizing that the decision not to slip a switch and open back the economy, is the right way. The He reports that the Prime Minister says that he will be led by the science and data and the decision will be made about what parts of the economy can be opened up. He says that the report by Oxford University is a good report that paints the country in a good light. He also talks about various drugs that are being investigated by a committee set up by the Chief Medical Officer and University of the West Indies.
