Caribbean Report 06-01-1992

In this BBC recording reports are given on a new committee of 'wisemen' established by the Jamaican Prime Minister, the call for the removal of the International trade embargo against Haiti, the threat of a military coup in Suriname and the view that there should be greater flexibility by CARICOM. This report also sheds light on Cuba's tourism thrust as an avenue for economic development and the collapse of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Commerce.
