Trichoderma atroviride Genome sequencing and assembly
T. atroviride is one of the most common soil-borne fungal species and has been described as an antagonist to soil-borne plant pathogens. Therefore, T. atroviride has been used as a biocontrol agent in agricultural settings. The draft genome presented here complements previously available Trichoderma genomes and will further facilitate genomic studies aimed to utilize Trichoderma as a biocontrol agent .
