Analyse Kringloopwijzer data 2016-2018

In this report statistical and big data analytical techniques were used to discover relationships between farm characteristics, management choices and sustainability performance. Although these relationships are more or less defined by the calculation rules of the Annual Nutrient Cycle Assessment (ANCA), their mutual relationships and importance for the different sustainability indicators are still unknown or unclear. Statistical analysis of a large set of reported ANCAs can clarify these mutual relationships and most important variables. For seven performance indicators, analyses have been performed regarding their relationship with pasturing, share of grassland, intensity, soil type or organic management and which variables contributed most to the variability of the performance indicator. Furthermore, an integral analysis was performed on an number of performance indicators.
