Vrijloopstal Wiersma
This report describes investigations regarding animal health and welfare, emission of greenhouse gasses, labour and economy, human food safety and soil fertility on a commercial farm with an experimental bedded pack barn. The bedding consisted of a layer of composting wood chips and was aerated actively and cultivated daily.
