Effecten van CO2-labeling op houding en gedrag van consumenten in een kantine-setting
By investigating the effect of CO2-labeling of foods on the attitude and (purchase) behavior of consumers in a canteen setting, the research described in this report aims to contribute to the current (policy) discussion in the Netherlands and Europe on the role of citizen-consumers in the sustainability of food production and consumption. The central objective of the research was to determine whether and how consumers in a canteen setting respond to the provision of information about the climatic effects of a selected group of food products that are offered for the lunch.
