Het Nieuwe Telen bij Vereijken
Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticulture has monitored a next generation greenhouse cultivation for tomatoes. This greenhouse has two energy screens and an installation for injecting of outside air via ducts. The use of heat is minimised to 1010 MJ/m2, with a very equal horizontal temperature distribution and hardly any appearance of Botrytis. The system is economically feasible if the price of heat is higher than 7 €/GJ.
