The Dutch organic egg industry wants to stimulate the demand for Dutch organic eggs in both the Dutch and German markets. In both markets the primary aim is to increase the market share, besides which the industry wants to raise the profile of the Dutch product in the German market. The aim of this study was to examine to what extent and how organic eggs can be placed more firmly in these markets, so that organic eggs catch the interest of a broader target group than just the consumers who choose organic from conviction
