Evaluation of Weed IT model 2006 MKII: spray volume and dose response tests

Common weed control methods on pavements are chemical control (herbicides), brushing, flaming, mowing and hot water treatment. Managers of pavements often choose for herbicide weed control on pavements because this method is most cost-effective and most easy to use. Four out of five municipalities in the Netherlands applied in 2001 herbicides on pavements. If we look at pavements on industrial sites (air)ports and railroads, this ratio is even higher. Today glyphosate is the mostly used herbicide on pavements in the Netherlands
