Herziening van het financieringsstelsel VWA 2006, een verkennende studie
Commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, this publication provides building blocks for the review of the financing system of the Dutch Food and Non-Food Authority, prompted by the imminent implementation of EC Directive 882/2004. This report looks at the monitoring activities in the field of food and animal feed that should be considered for a revision of cost allocation as well as at possible review options drawn from experience gained in neighbouring countries and within other inspection services in the Netherlands. Lastly, three scenarios describing the allocation of responsibility are analysed with regard to budgetary consequences
