Actuator for use with crops grown in rows

The actuator consists of a rotating disc (3) on which one or more cutting tools (4) are mounted. The tools ar mounted on the disc in such a way, that they can pivot between a rest position and a working position in which they extend approximately radially from the disc. The tools are normally kept in the rest position by springs. In the rest position, the cutting edges of the tools lie within the circumference of the disc. The tools move upward due to centrifugal force. The force exerted by the tools is controlled by the speed of rotation of the disc
