Bibliography on lifelong learning: draft

Learning may be thought of as lifelong, and adult education as a relatively neglected phase of lifelong education. Continuing education is a part of adult education concerned with noncredit courses. The bibliography lists publications in these areas, but is restricted to the USA - Publications are categorized under headings covering educational theories of adult education as well as the role of adult education in promoting self actualization and human resources development. Methodological problems, administrative problems and curriculum development are also covered, and reports of several projects listed. Finally, the bibliography lists publications pertaining to nonformal education, extension education, out of school education, and similar nontraditional programmes.
