Agricultural extension: the training and visit system
Describes a rural extension system developed by D. Benor which has been introduced in projects assisted by IBRD in a number of developing countries with good results - It is a systematic programme of 1 day per week training of extension agents imbeded in their frequent visits to farmers. administrative organization comprises various levels of responsibility and supervision starting with extension officers and proceeding to the district, zone and government levels.
