Innovative education for preliterate rural women: a project proposal
This is a proposal by World Education for adult education programmes aimed at preliterate women in the rural areas of Ethiopia, Nepal and Indonesia - The programme design includes background information on approaches to womens education and financial support requested. The main goal of the project is to explore effective ways of bringing adult basic education to large masses of rural women. Project activities and teaching techniques are outlined. Budgets for required equipment are also given. Annexes include information on World Education's Methods and Materials Centre, samples of techniques designed to increase student participation and a resumé on the project technical advisor.
