Audiovisual instruction

The revolution in communications technology has brought about educational innovations, especially in educational technology. At the level of teaching methods this is manifested by audiovisual instruction - The author discusses the use of audiovisual aids, with special chapters on the use of nonprojected aids, projected aids and projection equipment, audio aids and audiovisual equipment. He considers the design of educational buildings important in the teaching process and discusses the educational spaces appropriate to educational technology. Many schools are not prepared to administer audiovisual aids, and therefore a special programme should be devised which informs the teachers and supplies services. Media resources centres are necessary for the storage of audiovisual aids and audiovisual equipment.
