Audiovisual materials, their nature and use

A general survey of audiovisual aids and instructional materials, with audiovisual instructionteaching methods and production techniques - The first chapters treat visual aids and non-projected aids such as display boards, maps, illustrations, then models and exhibits. Following sections treat audiovisual equipment, such as language laboratories, and move into projection equipment and projected aids: filmstrips, transparencies, instructional films. Final chapters treat educational television and the selection of educational media.
