Official report from the Netherlands for UNESCO World Conference on adult education in the light of social change and lifelong education - Adult education is organized separately from formal education but there is a need for horizontal and vertical integration as well as consolidation of existing institutions. The report stresses the importance of continuing education centres such as the Dutch Centre of Adult Education which aims at educational coordination. Training of adult educators is provided mainly for social work
