General Conference paper examining the question of the possibility of a request for an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice in connection with the above matter, refers to 23 C/Resolution 0.9, and to 125 EX/Decision 8.2 and relevant discussions thereon, suggests postponing consideration of the proposed amendments to Article II, paragraph 6, and Article IX, paragraph 3, of the Constitution, designed to clarify the financial obligations of a Member State which withdraws and to eliminate any ambiguity of interpretation in this respect, until the twenty-fifth session of the General Conference and that the Executive Board continue to study the possibility of requesting an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice and to report thereon to the twenty-fifth session
