Director-General's reply to the debate on the consequences of the withdrawal of a Member State

Executive Board paper replying to questions raised during the debate concerning the Organization's future relations with the United States of America, consequent to the latter's withdrawal from UNESCO, pursuance of activities in light of the financial consequences of this withdrawal, and the future of international cooperation, refers to the three alternatives for reducing programme activities, set forth in paragraphs 150, 151 and 152 of document 4 X/EX/2, relating to the Programme and budget for 1986-1987
