Address by Federico Mayor, Deputy Director-General of UNESCO, on the occasion of the second World Congress of UNESCO Clubs and Associations

Speech paying tribute to the activities of UNESCO Clubs and Associations, whose aims coincide with UNESCO's objectives of attaining international understanding, stresses the role devolving on the future World Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations in co-ordinating the activities of the national affiliated federations and clubs, encouraging mutual solidarity between clubs in technologically advanced countries and in Third World countries
